Trim desired length from end of hose that goes in valve first, then replace end cap into trimmed end (Do not trim the cuff-end of hose).

Our new hose kits feature the mini-cuff, which allows tools to fit directly onto the hose cuff for easier use. Hose lengths can be customized to fit the home-owner’s needs. Refer to How to Customize Hose Length. A hose kit can be washed without removing the sock. Remove the entire hose kit from the valve and wash the hose w/sock in a bathtub using a small amount of dish or laundry soap. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry before retracting back into the valve.

6000 PRO Rough-In Valve Kit
$218.95The 6000 PRO Rough-In Valve Kit is required for both new construction and retro-fit installations. The Rough-In Valve Kit includes: 1 rough-in valve, 1 mounting brace, 1 reducer, 1 yellow mud cover, 4 mud cover screws, and a leveling shim in case the stud is not level.
The New 6000 PRO features a simple and intuitive Push and Pull lock, giving you the flexibility to clean at any length of hose. The valve housing is now installed during the rough-in process (unlike previous Hide-A-Hose valves where the valve housing was installed at trim). The 6000 PRO is mounted to the inside of the stud to avoid drywall bowing, which can occur with other central vacuum valves which mount to the front of the stud.

HS6000 PRO Pre-Plumb Rough-In Kit
$49.95Pre-plumb rough-in kit designed for Hide-A-Hose HS6000 PRO installations where the system is being roughed in during construction but may not be fully trimmed out at project completion. Commonly used by dealers and builders in production housing developments as a lower-cost alternative to installing a full HS6000R Rough-In Kit before the homeowner commits to the complete system.
The HS600055 includes a reusable pre-plumb rough-in component along with a finished trim cover that installs in place of the final valve assembly, providing a clean finished appearance until the system is upgraded.
When the homeowner is ready to complete the installation, the HS600055 can be removed and replaced with a standard HS6000R Rough-In Kit and HS6000 PRO Trim Kit. The pre-plumb rough-in components can then be reused on future pre-plumb projects, helping reduce installation costs and wasted materials.

Industry standard central vacuum pipe for seamless connections into central vacuum elbows/connection/fittings. Central vacuum pipe is thin, only 1/16″ thick with a 2″ outer diameter whereas SCH-40 (schedule 40) PVC pipe is measured by inner diameter and is thicker (3/16″).
Made from virgin PVC. Manufactured to ASTM-F 2158 standards and has no schedule rating or pressure rating since it is not irrigation related.
